Energy: A Key to Becoming Highly Attractive
In order to have the best partner, you need to be the best person. It’s 2-in-1 goal: becoming your best self and creating your best relationship. To help people get there, I use my SER framework — which stands for Self-Esteem, Energy, and Responsibility.
Over the years, I’ve realized high SER consistently gets a person the best results, including myself. And I don’t just mean romantically (although that’s included!) — I mean better results in life.
Today I want to talk about the second piece of SER: Energy.
My obersrvation is: too many people are living with low energy while expecting high-quality results. But those two things are incompatible. Your energy determines the quality of your personal life and your relationships. The higher your energy, the higher the quality.
And high energy isn’t about materialism. It’s about alignment with your higher self, which encompasses your highest values and ideals. When you’re aligned, life feels in flow, relationships are more satisfying and intentional, and people have better experiences with you.
So how do we recognize and build higher energy? I break it down into three markers (the signs you’re operating at high energy) and three pathways (the practices that get you there).
The 3 Markers of High Energy
Attitude – Not about being bubbly, but about having a winning mindset. Moving toward goals with enthusiasm and resilience.
Mindset – The lens through which you see the world. Growth and abundance mindsets create attraction; scarcity and fixed mindsets drain it.
Consistency – This is an outward showing of internal alignment with your values. This is “walking the talk.”
The 3 Pathways to Higher Energy
Audits – Get clear about what and who fuels you versus what drains you. Implement boundaries. Be stringent.
Consumption – Be intentional about what you watch, listen to, and engage with. What you consume, you become.
Pro-Social Behaviors – Lift others up. Serving people and spaces around you compounds the positive energy.
Energy is always with you, around you, and in you. The question is whether you’re fueling it or draining it. When you get intentional about raising the quality of your energy, all else in your life elevates with you.
